championship season! From this point forward the association will be
known as the Advantage Metals Recycling, LLC ULMA Late Models. “This is
the boost ULMA has been waiting for and we are looking forward to
forming a lasting partnership with Advantage Metals Recycling, LLC”

This Saturday, April 19th ULMA drivers will compete for the first-time
at the lightning fast 24 Raceway in Moberly, Missouri. Pepsi Americas
Columbia and Central Missouri presents the ULMA Spring Challenge, a
$1,000-to-win $200-to-start feature event. The four-tenths mile track is
located three and a half miles east of US 63 on US 24. In addition to
ULMA late models, all weekly divisions at 24 Raceway will compete in
what is sure to be one action-packed night of racing! Drivers that have
expressed interest in this event include defending ULMA Champion, Brett
Rollert, Danny Lorton; Darin Walker; Randy McGraw, Tommy Cordray, Walt
Imhoff, Kevin Coyne, Jeff Schlup, Jason Bodenhamer, Brett Wood, James
Rutledge, Bob Hiller, Shawn Williams, Randy Ainsworth, Danny Monroe,
Jason Sivils, Marty Pope, David Angell and Gary Billings. General
Admission can’t be beat at just $10 for adults, Children ages six to
twelve $5 with children five and under free! That’s six classes of
racing in one night for only 10 bucks! Pit passes are $25. ULMA pre-tech
inspection begins at 4:30 and runs to the start of hot laps. All
entrants must remove the left-front fender, hood and mud plugs for
technical inspection. Please note driver name does not constitute

The current ULMA membership for the year has swollen to over 60 drivers
and continues to grow. David Barker, Rylan Long, J.D. Hubert, Keith
Simmons and Jason Bodenhamer are just a few of the most recent members
to join. Bodenhamer’s own Bodee’s Race Bodies has once again returned as
a ULMA sponsor for 2008. With one official points-earning event in the
books, Matt Menzie of Clever, Missouri finds himself at the top of the
leader board as a result of his early season win at Lucas Oil Speedway.
This weekend’s Moberly event is a points-awarding race. Current top 10
